The Elgin Main Street Board and the Elgin Chamber of Commerce host group tours throughout the year. To set up a tour, call the Elgin Chamber at 512-285-4515. The Heritage Tour includes Southside Market & BBQ, the Downtown District, and the Fleming Community Center. Tours can include the following: Christmas tree farms, famous sausage, historic district, shopping, antique mall, windflowers, area farms, etc.

The Elgin Depot Museum
Group tours are available by appointment. Operated by the Elgin Historical Association, the Union Depot Museum is open 5 days a week from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, closed Sunday, Monday and some holidays. Located at Depot Square at Main and Depot Streets. Call 512-285-2000.
The Nofsinger House
The Dr. I.B. Nofsinger House was built in 1906, and restored in 2003. It currently houses the City of Elgin administrative offices. Tours are available by appointment for groups and schools Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please call 512-281-5724 for information.
