National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) - Open to ALL Ages
Tuesday, November 1, 2022
ON YOUR MARK... GET SET... WRITE!
* Take the challenge and write the novel you have been dreaming to write! Adults can take the challenge to write a 50,000 word novel. Youth can set a word count goal for the month and aim to reach that goal. All novels must be original and completed by the end of the month. Participants are invited to share it with the official NaNoWriMo Non-Profit organization online.
* Tuesdays November 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th 5:00PM to 6:30PM – NaNoWriMo Write-in (for Teens and Adults). Visit the library during a write-in and receive a NaNoWriMo Survival Kit (while supplies last) that includes snacks, writing pens, notepads, and even flash drives to store your original novel.
* Saturday November 5th 12:00PM to 2:00PM Free Writer’s Workshop with local author Sally Hanan, who wrote “My Heart Went Walking.”
