Adult Craft: Wildflower Seed Balls (Funded by the St. David's Foundation Libraries for Health Grant)
Friday, October 7, 2022
Looking for a STRESS-FREE form of gardening? Then look no further! Create wildflower seed balls for yourself and learn where to toss them so you can enjoy a BEAUTIFUL variety of Bluebonnets, Indian Blankets, Missouri Primroses, Prairie Verbena, Purple Horsemint, Pick Evening, Plains Coreopsis, Black-eyed Susans, Mexican Hats, and Butterfly Milkweeds in the coming year. You are also invited to stay for awhile and help create more STRESS-FREE Wildflower Seed Ball kits to share with others as the Elgin Public Library provides kits to patrons who visit the library during the month (while supplies last)! The pollinator seed mixes are from TxDot's Pollinator Program and the program is funded by the St. David's Foundation Libraries for Health Grant. A variety of gardening for health books purchased with grant funds will also be on display and available to checkout with your Elgin Public Library card.
