City of Elgin parks welcome dogs on a leash and owners should be prepared to scoop the poop! The city does not have off leash dog parks. If you have any concerns about an off-leash dog at a city park call 911 or the non-emergency number 512-303-7000 and it will be dispatched to the animal control officer, or a patrol officer.
