Story time and lapsit both promote language development and literacy skills. As parents and/or guardians sit with their child, they create lasting memories as they develop stronger bonds while listening to stories read to them. In addition, your child will grow to love reading and discover the joys of the library at a young age.
Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. storytime with Mrs. Raby. This program is geared towards youth ages 4-5 years old. Children will enjoy 2-3 picture books that Mrs. Raby will read that will reflect the season or monthly theme.
Lapsit program every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Ms. Melinda. This program is geared towards newborns to age 3 years old. Lapsit is a baby-toddler program that serves the caregiver and the child. This is a great way to share quality time with the child and at the same time to enjoy books, songs and finger games.
