Senior Coffee Social Club - Free Coffee for 60+ at Elgin Recreation Center

Seniors aged 60+ are invited to come to the Elgin Recreation Center for FREE Monday - Friday from 8:00AM-11:00AM to enjoy a free cup of coffee courtesy of the Elgin Recreation Center and Drive-A-Senior/Chariot. This is a great way to socialize with other seniors and get to know members of your community. WildCat Walkers - Free Walking Program for 60+ at the Elgin Recreation Center

Seniors aged 60+ are invited to come to the Elgin Recreation Center for FREE Monday - Friday from 8:00AM-10:00AM to walk laps in the Gym. Wildcat Walkers is a fun way to socialize with other seniors while walking in a climate controlled gym, providing a safe space for fitness. The Elgin Recreation Center rewards walking milestones, so for your first 100 miles walked, you receive a shirt, for 250 miles you'll receive a pedometer and for 500 miles you'll receive a stainless steel water bottle. Se invita GRATUITAMENTE a las personas mayores de 60 a#os a venir al Centro Recreativo de Elgin. De lunes a viernes desde las 8:00am a las 10:00am para caminar en el gimnasio. Elgin's T.R.E.E. Initiative

Elgin's T.R.E.E. Initiative Fall 2022 Join the Elgin Parks & Recreation Department in “greening” the City of Elgin by planting 150 trees in Elgin for the "Tree Replanting Elgin Experiment" or T.R.E.E. Initiative! We encourage citizens, organizations and businesses to commit to planting one or more trees in their space this November to help grow the green in Elgin for the next 150 years! Prime Timer Puzzle Day - Free Puzzle Club for Ages 60+

Prime Timer Puzzle Day - Free Puzzle Club for Ages 60+ 1st Monday of every month | 2PM - 4PM Participants aged 60+ are invited to come to the Elgin Recreation Center every first Monday of the month from 2:00PM-4:00PM for a FREE puzzle day. This is a fun way to socialize with other seniors while keeping your mind sharp by completing jigsaw puzzles. Puzzles not completed by the end of the time will be saved for future puzzle days. All skill levels are welcome! ----- Los participantes mayores de 60 años están invitados a venir al Centro Recreativo de Elgin cada primer lunes de cada mes de 2:00 p. m. a 4:00 p. m. para un día de rompecabezas GRATIS. Esta es una forma divertida de socializar con otras personas mayores mientras mantiene su mente alerta completando rompecabezas. Join Elgin Parks & Recreation for full court Volleyball on Mondays & Wednesday nights.
